Autumn 2023 TBR: Ten Books I Hope to Read

Happy Tuesday, y’all! It’s that time again. What time is it? It’s time to share our seasonal TBR. Jana, over at That Artsy Reader Girl, asks us to share a seasonal TBR every quarter. For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, that means our Autumn 2023 TBR. For my Autumn 2023 TBR, I will list books I hope to read from October to December 2023.

How did my Summer TBR go? Not too bad, honestly! I read five of the ten books I listed, with the possibility of finishing at least one more. I did also DNF one.

For my Autumn 2023 TBR, I followed a similar pattern to my previous seasonal TBR. This quarter, I have some ARCs to read and three books for the Buzzwords reading challenge from Books & Lala. So, I decided to highlight five of the ARCs. Then, I used Goodreads’s random search function to help fill the rest of my TBR.

Without further ado, here is my Autumn 2023 TBR!

A Traitor in Whitehall by Julia Kelly

1940, England: Evelyne Redfern, known as “The Parisian Orphan” as a child, is working on the line at a munitions factory in wartime London. The Predictable Heartbreaks of Imogen Finch by Jacqueline Firkins

The General and Julia by Jon Clinch

The Kindred Spirits Supper Club by Amy E. Reichert

Jobless and forced home to Wisconsin, journalist Sabrina Monroe can tolerate reunions with frenemies and kisses from old boyfriends, but not the literal ghosts that greet her in this heartwarming tale of the power of love and connection from acclaimed author Amy E. Reichert.

The Geography of Lost Things by Jessica Brody

A lot can happen on the road from lost to found…

Ali Collins doesn’t have room in her life for clutter or complications. So when her estranged father passes away and leaves her his only prized possession—a 1968 Firebird convertible—Ali knows she won’t keep it. Not when it reminds her too much of all her father’s unfulfilled promises. And that concludes my Autumn 2023 TBR! Hopefully, I’ll be reading more books than these. Why do I say that? Because I currently have access to these books. And that means I can read them when I’m ready!
