Happy Tuesday, y’all! This week, Jana, over at That Artsy Reader Girl, has handed the reins to Astilbe at Long and Short Reviews. And what did Astilbe come up with for this week? Books to read during a storm. Honestly, I think any book is good to read in a storm. Who doesn’t love curling up with a good book during a storm? Instead, I decided to focus on book covers, more specifically, those with winter vibes.
So, what are winter vibes? These are books whose covers may be dark and brooding. Maybe someone is wearing a heavy jacket and scarf. It could be the colors themselves; are they an icy blue? Is there snow on the cover? Some of these are set during winter, and a few may be stories set around Christmas.
All titles will lead to Goodreads.
Now, let’s see these books whose covers have winter vibes!

I share your sentiment….any book is a good book to read in a storm! I’m tweaking my post as well.
You chose to go down an interesting path this week!
I love it when books have winter vibes.
I love the cover for Cold!
It Happened One Christmas is on my TBR. Happy reading! My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/winter-reading-recommendations/
Good choices! I enjoyed Reykjavik when I read that one.
I’ve been looking for a cute, fluffy holiday romance and Three Holidays and a Wedding looks perfect–and my library has it! I’ll be cozying up with that as soon as it arrives on the hold shelf 🙂
Three Holidays and a Wedding is totally a cute & fluffy romance. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Omg, I love the covers for Cold and Our Cursed Love! These are all so very wintery picks!
I’ve read Holly’s book and that first book on your list, Cold, has a STUNNING cover! Love the textures and colors. 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting my list today.
Icelandic Noir! Eeerie. Three Holidays and a Wedding was good. Nice job.
I loved Reykjavik, and if that’s what Icelandic Noir is then I want more!
Pam
Yep, I love all books in stormy weather! haha I tweaked mine too. These are all great winter vibe covers!
The christmas romances looks so cute
You did find some wintery scenes. Have you read Five Little Indians? It is in the queue for book club and I know nothing about it.
Please drop me a comment. I am trying to figure out if others can get through whatever barriers my provider has placed in our way. And I need the data. Thank you. My books which include snowy scenes
I have read Five Little Indians. It was eye-opening to learn about experiences surrounding the residential schools. There are some content warnings that you may want to research before reading it. These book covers do all have wintry vibes! I haven’t read any of them, so I do wonder how many of the books’ interiors also have wintry vibes…
The majority of them are set in December or January if that gives you any clues about the wintery vibes inside.

In Farm’s Way looks cute!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Books with winter vibes are great to read in a snow storm 😉 or during the winter…or summer if you want to cool off, great topic!
Fab choices!
OOh nice! These definitely give off the winter vibes for sure! All new to me ones.
Thanks for visiting my TTT!
I posted awhile ago about wintry covers and these are all good ones, several on that list of mine. If it is storming out, I prefer cozy stories to snuggle up to.
These are great covers. Our Cursed Love is compelling and sad. I need to check that book out!
Winter vibes are so much fun! Lots of great covers this week.
Brrrrr!! So cold just looking at them!
The sky and clouds on the cover of Cold are absolutely stunning! Beautiful cover!
I loved In Farm’s Way, especially as a Michigander! And I am adding Cold to my list, it sounds really good!
Five Little Indians has been on my TBR for a while, and I’ll definitely have to add Cold by Drew Hayden Taylor. The cover is gorgeous, and it sounds like it’ll be something I’ll enjoy!
