Happy Tuesday, y’all! This week, Jana, over at That Artsy Reader Girl, has handed the reins to Astilbe at Long and Short Reviews. And what did Astilbe come up with for this week? Books to read during a storm. Honestly, I think any book is good to read in a storm. Who doesn’t love curling up with a good book during a storm? Instead, I decided to focus on book covers, more specifically, those with winter vibes.

Winter Vibes: Books Whose Covers Have Winter Vibes

So, what are winter vibes? These are books whose covers may be dark and brooding. Maybe someone is wearing a heavy jacket and scarf. It could be the colors themselves; are they an icy blue? Is there snow on the cover? Some of these are set during winter, and a few may be stories set around Christmas.

All titles will lead to Goodreads.

  1. I’ve been looking for a cute, fluffy holiday romance and Three Holidays and a Wedding looks perfect–and my library has it! I’ll be cozying up with that as soon as it arrives on the hold shelf 🙂

  2. I’ve read Holly’s book and that first book on your list, Cold, has a STUNNING cover! Love the textures and colors. 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting my list today.

    1. The majority of them are set in December or January if that gives you any clues about the wintery vibes inside.

  3. I posted awhile ago about wintry covers and these are all good ones, several on that list of mine. If it is storming out, I prefer cozy stories to snuggle up to.
