Happy Tuesday, y’all! This week, Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl is asking us to share our favorite secondary or minor characters. Honestly, I’m hard-pressed to think of any at the moment. So instead, I’m going to pivot and do something I’ve seen a few other bloggers discuss. This week, I’m going to share the series I’ve caught up on in 2026.

Some of these series are complete, but many others are still ongoing. I’m not sharing series with only one book listed because those aren’t guaranteed to be series.

So many series already – congratulations!
I have been trying to make it a mission this year to catch up on, and possibly finish the series I’ve started. I’m happy to have caught up on this many.
Have a good week. Here is my TTT. https://dmhoisington.wordpress.com/2026/05/19/top-ten-tuesday-30-favorite-secondary-minor-characters/
Good for you for getting all caught up!
There’s more left to get caught up on. I’m hoping to work my way through them this year, and to let the ones go that I’m not interested in any longer.
Well done getting caught up! I love that Benjamin Stevenson series so much.
Ernest is one of my favorite characters!
Congrats! Iโm shared series Iโm behind on ๐
Thanks for sharing your #TTT
It feels good to get caught up on series! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
We won’t talk about the ones I’ve started this year. LOL!
I don’t even want to think about the titles and series I need to catch up on! May be a list I need to make in order to inspire me to read some. ๐ Thanks for visiting my list this week!
These look good. I don’t have time to read series. I will read the odd one then it will be ages before I get back to it. It’s my own fault, I get distracted by Blog Tours and Netgalley books!
I did read Legends and Lattes though, but found it to be an average read so I haven’t tried the rest.
Have a great week!
A few of these series took me years to complete, while others it was only a few months. The best part is that a couple are more like companion novels than true series.
I see. Companion novels sound good ๐
Hi, Pam. Iโm glad I wasnโt the only one who couldnโt think of secondary characters. What a fun topic! Enjoy your day!
Andi
We both had series on the mind this week. I’m hoping to complete some too.
You did great on catching up on series! I don’t think I’ve fully caught up on any yet this year, but I am in the process of catching up on some ๐
I have a few more that I would like to catch up on this year, if time allows.
You know this is a topic that will be stolen, I mean shared, LOL! It’s a great topic. I have caught up/finished 12 series so far this year. Have a great week!
Steal away! LOL!
I hope there will be more Sunshine Vicram books!
We can always hope!
I love the Kirrinfief series! I wish she’d write more set there although sometimes the characters pop up in other books.
Isn’t it great to see a favorite character pop up in a different book?
Didn’t realize Brigands was out now!
Good work–all of these are new to me! Thanks for visiting my blog.
You’ve made lots of progress this year! This is also a good topic to file away for a future week, haha.
I was suprised to see how many series I’ve caught up on so early in the year. Though I’m sure I have just as many left to catch up on. And let’s not talk about the ones I’ve started this year.
Nice job, Pam! Doesn’t catching up feel great? Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.
Nice! It feels so good to catch up on series — I’ve started making a series priority list at the start of each year, and I can usually make at least a little progress ๐
A couple of years ago, I went through my physical shelf and pulled all the series books off that I haven’t read and put them in a more visible place as a reminder to read them. It’s finally starting to work.
I’ve heard so many good things about Legends & Lattes. I probably need to pick up more series myself this year.
I’m not much of a fantasy reader, but I’ve enjoyed the whole thing, and shared it with my husband who does enjoy fantasy.
I love the Part of Your World series!
You’ve done brilliantly!
I’ve still only read Legends and Lattes. I need to get to the others!
I struggle so much in catching up on series as a new installment is published. I didn’t know that several of these were connected to each other!
It can be hard to catch up with series sometimes. Some of these “series” are more companion novels than true series.
Great topic! I’m always caught up on the Ernest Cunningham series because I love it so much that I read each book the second they come out, LOL.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

That series is so much fun! Everytime I finish one, I’m sad to learn I have to wait a year or so for a new one.
Congrats on catching up on all these series. It is one of my goals to catch up on series. Alas, I am currently failing that. LOL! But I do intend to do some good reading over the summer.
In all honesty, it’s very rare for me to finish a long series. I tend to move on to other books between releases and then over time forget about them.

Same! That’s why some of the series took me 2-3 years to finish.
I am very impressed! I tend to just read the first book of a series, and stop.
It’s ok to do that if a series doesn’t work for you. I’ve started a couple of series that I know I won’t finish. I’m sad, but also know that the series wasn’t going in a direction I enjoyed any longer.
Wow, good job on catching up on all of these. I don’t want to think about how behind I am, ahaha.
Great job keeping up (or catching up) with these series!
I just have one book to read and then I will be caught up on the Benjamin Stevenson. The others are all new to me! Good job on catching up with so many series!
