Happy July, y’all! Am I the only one who can’t believe that 2026 is halfway over? I feel like it has passed by in a blur; what about you? I’m hoping that the rest of the year slows down, just a bit. In the meantime, I want to enjoy my summer. What about you? Let’s take a look at my June 2026 wrap-up and July plans.

My June TBR wasn’t too difficult. Sadly, one was a DNF. I managed to knock a couple of books off my spring TBR as well. Sadly, one of those was a DNF. I don’t think it was the book, more of me picking it up at the wrong time. But I also finally managed to read a book from my year-long TBR.
Did I read a good book in June? I would recommend any of the books I finished. Yet again, this month is hard to pick my favorite read. Lady X was a solid 4.75 stars, The Astral Library was a 4.5-star read, as was Deadly Does It. As I said, it’s hard to pick a favorite, especially as the others were around 4 stars.
July TBR
I have a post tomorrow that will feature my TBR for July.
June Blog Wrap-Up & July Plans
In June, I published 10 posts. Of those 10, 4 were reviews, and 4 were TTT posts. There was also a wrap-up post and a shelf clean-up.
In July 2024, I shared my review of the Too Good to Go App (if you haven’t checked it out, you really should), and it was the most popular post in June. Of the 10 posts I published in June, the most popular was the one where I shared my summer TBR.
What does July have in store for the blog? Y’know that blog project I’ve been teasing for a couple of months? Well, it’s happening in July! I am doing Blogmas in July. What does that mean? It means I will be publishing a post each day for the entire month of July, and they will all be about the December holiday season. Wish me luck!
Personal Stuff
June was pretty much as I expected. My youngest had some drama in her final weeks of school. Thankfully, she’s almost done with school. Only one semester left, and then it’s time for post-secondary. As expected, we did go strawberry picking for Father’s Day. It was a touch hit-or-miss at first, as the weather didn’t look like it would cooperate. I mean, who wants to pick berries in the rain? Afterward, we found ourselves at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant that had some really delicious food, and then we hit up an antique mall. It was so big that I think we only went through a third of it. Maybe we’ll go back later this summer.
What does July have in store for us? Doctor’s appointments early in the month, a college open house, and a week away at the end of the month. Work will be interesting, as I volunteered to work during the summer shutdown. Means a week of quiet at work, and then I’m off when things start to get crazy. Got to love that!
Oh, and I’ve signed up to do a fundraiser for cancer research. Best part? It’s a reading challenge. LOL! If you’re willing and able to help out, you can find my fundraiser here.
That’s my June in a nutshell. How was your June? What was your favorite read? What are your plans for July?
