Happy Tuesday y’all! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and continue to do so. And those who were slammed with the horrible winter weather right before Christmas, I hope you are all safe and warm. Thankfully, we didn’t get all the snow we were threatened with, but the winds were pretty bad. Another wonderful thing is that we did not lose power. Not everyone was so fortunate. This week for Top Ten Tuesday, Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl wants us to share our recent additions. So let’s check out my holiday 2022 book haul!

Holiday 2022 Book Haul

All titles are linked to Goodreads.

Manga & Graphic Novel

These were given to me by my 14-year-old daughter. She loves manga and anime and wants to share her love with me. I’ve watched a few episodes of the Haikyu anime with her. She knows I love volleyball as well.

Haikyu! Volume 1 by Haruichi Furudate | Haikyu! Volume 2 by Haruichi Furudate

My husband gave me a graphic novel after mentioning to him that I wanted to read this to see what the hype was all about.

Lore Olympus: Volume One by Rachel Smythe

Fiction

These are all from my husband. Two are used, but give me the rest of the series in the same format as the first one.

The Wonder Boy of Whistle Stop by Fannie Flagg | The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan | The Serpent’s Shadow by Rick Riordan

Misc

Remember that building kit I mentioned last week on my wish list? It found its way under my Christmas tree, and I was quite excited to unwrap it.

RoWood DIY Miniature Dollhouse Kit, 1:24 Scale Tiny House Building Kit

Along with that, I also received two t-shirts, a mug, a gift card, a bag, and an art print of Percy Jackson book covers. I also got a Haikyu mystery figure pack in my stocking. I’ll see if I can get pictures for my December wrap-up.

And that is my holiday 2022 book haul. What was your holiday book haul like? Were any of your wishes granted?

  4. I’ve seen various versions of those shelf sitter bookish kits and they all look delightful. This one looks like a little miniatures room. Great books and so cool that your daughter gifted books too. A family that reads together, has something strong in common πŸ™‚ Thanks for the visit.
