Happy Tuesday, y’all! Jana from That Artsy Reader Girl handed this week’s Top Ten Tuesday over to Heather from The Frozen Library. And what did she pick for this week? Heather wants us to share bookish candles we would make if we could. This is a lot harder than I thought it would be; some books have perfect scents that would match them. Others, not so much. Who wants to see bookish candles I want based on my recent reads?
I will admit here that I am a lover of candles. I tend to gravitate towards candles with a sweet scent. You know, the ones that smell like baked goods. YUM! I’m not a massive fan of floral-scented candles, as they tend to be too much like perfume.
So, let’s see what bookish candles I want based on my recent reads!

Thanks for the brilliant post, Pam! I love that you’ve based your candle ideas on specific locations in the books, it’s such a creative twist! The idea for a Camp Half-Blood candle from The Lightning Thief is a stroke of genius.
I also love scented candles and tend to stick with sweet scents. I shy away from more sophisticated scents and would actually never buy an “old books” one or anything similar. Well done with the topic! I didn’t even try, LOL.

I remember seeing someone selling bookish candles as a craft show. I was so disappointed with their choice for the Percy Jackson series. I think they went with scents from Sea of Monsters with a combo of ocean and fire.
Sweet smelling candles always make me hungry, haha.
