Happy Tuesday, y’all! It’s that time again. What time is it? It’s time to share our seasonal TBR. Jana, over at That Artsy Reader Girl, asks us to share a seasonal TBR every quarter. For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, that means our Winter 2026 TBR. For my Winter 2026 TBR, I will list books I hope to read from January-March 2026.

Winter 2026 TBR: Ten Books I Hope to Read January-March.

How did my Autumn 2025 TBR go? Pretty good, honestly! I read five of the ten books I listed. And there’s still time to read a few more.

In 2024, I focused more on reading my current physical TBR instead of trying to read all the new books. I have come up with 10 book categories I want to focus on each quarter. Most of the books on my list will be from my bookshelf. I also want to show my library some love, so several of the books will be library books.

All titles are linked to Goodreads.

Without further ado, here is my Winter 2026 TBR!

How did your Autumn 2025 TBR go? What books are on your Winter 2026 TBR? I would love to know!

  1. Ah, another year come and gone and I once again haven’t read an Abby Jimenez book. She’s becoming as elusive to my ‘read’ shelf as EH! 🫣 This looks like a great list of possibilities and I hope you enjoy whichever ones you pick up. Happy reading!

  2. I saw SO many episodes of Murdoch and enjoyed them. Also, I know so many readers love Abby’s but I haven’t read any. 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting my list today – and happy winter TBR-ing.

    1. I haven’t watched any episodeds of Murdoch in a few years. But I’ve always enjoyed watching and seeing places I recognize, as they’ve been known to film in and around the city I live in.

  3. I have read a total of four from my Autumn TBR post. 🙄

Like others here, I am adding The Diary of a Bookseller by Shaun Bythell to my TBR. One of my recurrent dreams, as a much younger single person, was to own a book store and live above it with at least one cat.

    1. I’ve heard of a book store in either Ireland or Scotland where you can run the store and and stay in the apartment that’s over the store as a vacation.

  4. Oh yeah, The White Girl is also still on my TBR, completely forgot about that one! Sounds like it will be a heartwrenching read though.

  5. Good list! The White Girl was good–I read/reviewed it this year. My Mom liked Miss Cecily. I’m putting Poutine: on my TRB! Thanks for bringint that one to my attention. I’ve enjoyed the Mitford Murders–I should get back to them.

  6. I love how you pick them by different categories — how fun! I’ve not read any of the books featured, but I hope you enjoy them all. 🙂

  7. Which one to start with is a tough choice! I also need a Z author for my list. The Accidental Further Adventures of the Hundred-Year-Old Man just sounds good. I look forward to reading your thoughts on these!

  8. A very interesting list, Pam. I have the first 3 on my TBR shelf, so thanks for the reminder. I hope you enjoy all of these. Happy winter reading.

  9. Mmmm, poutine… I love it! I can’t find any this far away from Canada, though. (The few times I’ve seen poutine on the menu here in California, it was more of a poutine-inspired dish and very disappointing.)

    1. I think the only way to get a good poutine is to be in Canada. Even making them at home is hard. They’re one of my daughter’s go to orders when we eat out.

  10. I’ve been dying to read Yours Truly! I’ve been so slammed between different cabinet painting jobs that my tbr list is getting way too large, but Abby Jimenez will always be at the top haha Hopefully I get some time this Christmas to check it out. Thanks for your list.
