Happy Tuesday y’all! And Happy December! This week Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl has given us a bit of a gift. What gift is that? This week’s topic for Top Ten Tuesday is a freebie, and with it being the holiday season, many make it a holiday themed post. For this busy time of year, I decided to share a list of short holiday reads. All of the books below are under 300 pages. That means you should be able to squeeze one holiday read in this season!
In December 2022, I shared Ten Favorite Holiday Reads-2022 Edition. My 2021 freebie was Holiday Books That Don’t Mention the Holidays in Their Title. Both are fun lists and chock full of great holiday reads. This year I decided to focus on holiday books that are under 300 pages. The list is a mix of books I’ve read and ones on my TBR.
All titles will lead to Goodreads and images to Amazon.

Great idea for a post!
All of these sound good. I love Fannie Flagg’s books and I’m intrigued by The Further Adventures of Ebenezer Scrooge.
Ooh, I’d forgotten I have A Redbird Christmas on my TBR since a couple of years. Now, that should make a nice cozy read for this winter!
I do own A Christmas in the Alps. I pulled it and all the other Christmas books I own and put them on my TBR cart, in the hopes I will actually get to them this year…we will see, LOL!
I haven’t gotten around to pulling my holiday books out this year. Still trying to get over the illness I had the past few weeks. Doubt I’ll get much holiday reading done this year.
Good list–are there books published today that top 300 pages? I wonder…. I loved Skipping Christmas, The Christmas Train, and Redbird Christmas!
Several of the holiday rom-coms are around 330 pages. While not long, they still can be a bit time consuming.
I’ve been meaning to read Agatha Christie. Thanks for these additions to my TBR 🙂
Here’s my Top Ten Tuesday.
This is a great idea for a list, but I was hoping when it said “holiday” that it would be inclusive of other holidays. 😩 I do love the prompt idea though, and might have to borrow it someday!
I could definitely use some short books to read before the end of the year — thanks for the list! It’s always nice to read something seasonal and chill.
love your take on the freebie.. and snow garden tempts me the most on your list
