Happy Tuesday, y’all! Americans are celebrating Thanksgiving this week, so Jana over atย That Artsy Reader Girlย gave us aย freebie. I’m not sure about you, but in my household, Thanksgiving means the crazy holiday season is here. This year, I’ve decided I want to share some Lego sets for book lovers. These would all be great gift ideas!

Lego Sets for Book Lovers: Gift Ideas

All links are to the official LEGO website.

Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook

I’m positive every book lover heard about this set when it was announced earlier this year. There are mysteries to be solved as you build this book nook. Or if you prefer, it can be opened to view a street scene.

The Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook

Lego has a handful of sets that are Lord of the Rings-based. I feel like this book nook would be a perfect gift for a fan of the books or movies.

Glinda & Elphaba Bookends

Yes, I know this set is more based on the movie than on the books. But it’s still a bookish item.

Book Nook: Hogwarts Express

This set is a 2-in-1 set. How? It’s a book nook, but it can also be turned into bookends!

Twilight: The Cullen House

I know, I know! But the movies are based on a book series.

Jaws

Yes, I know, it’s a movie. But did you know it was a book before it became the hit movie? I think you’re gonna need a bigger shelf!

The Going Merry Pirate Ship

This Lego set is inspired by the super-popular manga, anime, and live-action show, One Piece. It’s one of several One Piece-themed Lego sets.

Dinosaur Fossils: T. rex Skull

Yes, I know, I know this is a movie piece. But hear me out. The original Jurassic Park movies were adaptations of the Michael Crichton novel.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory

Stop fussing at me; I know this is a Lego movie set. But the movie is an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The Orient Express Train

While this isn’t directly linked to a book, it would still be a fantastic addition to any bookshelf. It’s even better if the person is an Agatha Christie fan.

Typewriter with Flowers

I actually have this set on my holiday wishlist. It’s small, at around 5 inches high, 4 inches long, and 6 inches wide. This is actually a 3-in-1 set that can also be made into a keytar on a stand or a flowerpot with a pen and notebook.

These are just ten of the many LEGO sets for book lovers. Have you ever received bookish Legos? Or given bookish Legos? Will you be adding any of these to your Christmas list?

  1. Omg these are great! I would love to receive lego sets as a gift ๐Ÿ˜ I always hesitate to buy them though because I never know where I’m gonna put them. My space is already super cluttered with the way I magically accumulate things ๐Ÿ˜‚

  2. They are amazing! My partner loves Lego and our sons are just starting to get into it (ages 7 and 2). For Christmas my partner got me the Jane Austen Lego set (he gave it to me early because it was second hand and he didn’t like the box that it came in ๐Ÿ˜ถ I wasn’t bothered by the box ๐Ÿ˜‚)

    Have a great week!

  3. I don’t think I had many or played much with Legos as a kid, but some of them are so fun and cool! Love the Sherlock one. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks so much for visiting my list today.

    1. My oldest daughter is a huge Lego fan, and as such gets everyone a Lego set every year for Christmas. Though she’s threatened to stop if we don’t build them.

    1. It’s on my Christmas list that I’ve shared with my husband and kids. We shall see if I’ve been a good girl at Christmas!

  4. What a fun list! I have absolutely no space for Lego in my one bedroom apartment, but I want most of these, especially the Sherlock and Balrog ones.

  5. My husband is a HUGE Lego lover. He bought me a unique bookish one (I can’t remember what it’s called – it was a special freebie last year, I think) for Christmas and hasn’t built it because apparently it’s a collector’s item now? LOL. We saw the typewriter one at Costco the other day. It’s cute!

    Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

  6. I love these and would love to own them. I didn’t know about the Jurassic Park dinosaur fossil. That one is so cool (and it totally counts). ๐Ÿ™‚
