Happy February, everyone! We’ve made it through the first month of 2023; now, we’re in the longest month of the year. Yes, I know, February only has 28 days, but in my part of the world (southern Ontario), it is one of the coldest and darkest months of the year. That means staying home, wrapped up by the fire with a warm drink and a pile of good books! But first, it is time for my January 2023 Wrap-Up!
Reading Wrap-Up for January 2023 & February 2023 TBR
Let’s flashback to my December 2022 wrap-up for a reminder of what I said I would read in January.
- Bloodmarked by Tracy Deonn

- The Sweet Spot by Amy Poeppel (ARC)
- Maame by Jessica George (ARC)
- Cheddar Late Than Dead by Linda Reilly (ARC)
- The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin (Buzzwordathon)
Guess what? I read all of those and more! Yay me!

February 2023 TBR
My TBR for February isn’t as crazy as some months, I promise! I have two ARCs, one challenge book, and one other that I started in January and should get done before too long. So that is a total of four books. The challenge I’m doing this year is Buzzwordathon from Kayla at Books and Lala.
- The All You Can Dream Buffet by Barbara O’Neal
- Maureen by Rachel Joyce (ARC)
- In Farm’s Way by Amanda Flower (ARC)
- Woman Enters Left by Jessica Brockmole (Buzzwordathon)
Blogging Wrap-Up for January 2023 & February 2023 Plans
In January 2023, I published 13 posts. While not a lot, nor near what I had planned, I’m still happy with what I did post. Of the 13 posts, there were three reviews, five Top Ten Tuesday posts, and two wrap-ups. My most popular post of January 2023 was My Ten Favorite Books of 2022.
I have a few posts planned for February 2023. There will be two reviews, four Top Ten Tuesday posts, and a TBR Shelf Clean-Up. I am also hoping to get a few Foodie Friday posts up. Do you have any suggestions?
Personal Wrap-Up for January 2023 & February 2023 Plans
Not a lot to share on the personal front. My work schedule has been a bit scrambled due to staffing issues. And that isn’t going to change in the near future, either. I haven’t been watching much on TV other than YouTube videos. In some ways, that’s become date night with my husband, catching up on the videos we’ve missed over the week. Is that sad?
I have started stretching my creative muscles again, but slowly, as I haven’t done much in the past couple of years. I have a small cross-stitch kit I picked up from the dollar store that I have been working on. It’s a great way to keep my hands busy while listening to audiobooks.
In February, I hope to keep stretching my creative muscles. If the weather ever gets warm, I might even stretch my actual muscles and go for walks again.
That is my January 2023 wrap-up and February 2023 plans. How was your January? Did you read any good books? What are your plans for February?

Woman Enters Left was good. I’m loving Maame right now. Good post.
You had a great month of reading. I’m hoping the weather warms up soon too so I can get out and walk more.
Sounds like January was a great month! Here’s to a good February as well!
