Happy Tuesday, y’all! This week, Jana from That Artsy Reader Girl is giving us a Halloween freebie. I have to say, I was a bit stumped by this, which is strange. Then I went looking through some of my older posts, and found the Halloween Creatures Book Tag I had done when I first started blogging. It feels like perfect timing, and I will use only books read in 2025. So I guess you could say this is the Halloween Creatures Book Tag: 2025 edition.

I found this tag at Read All The Things and Nily. You should check out their posts when you get the chance. You can find my first attempt at this tag here.

Very good! I don’t mind a book tag like this, they can be fun to think around.

I’ve read a decent number of Christie’s but I still mean to read Witness for the Prosecution so I can go see it live sometime.
Great list, Pam! I’ve never heard of a book tag, but this looks like fun! All of these books sound very interesting, especially The Day I Left You. I may have to add that one to my TBR list. Happy Tuesday and Happy Halloween!
Oh wow, this is a great tag idea! I love a good book tag so I may have to see if I have any books that would fit with these questions… 🙂
Here’s my TTT post – https://justreadjessie.blog/2025/10/28/top-ten-tuesday-halloween-freebie-pumpkins/
Fred was a lovely character! More like Harold than Ove, I’d say. Ove had to get the scrooge treatment, almost…
If You’ll Have Me looks cute.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
OH NO. I’m actually starting The Last Devil To Die later this week and now I’m SCARED! I don’t want any of my these beloved characters to die! 😭 Welp… (also though, you’ve got me very curious about SON!)
This was fun! Such a great list too, and I’m definitely adding The Ex-Boyfriend’s Favorite Recipe Funeral Committee to my TBR 😀
This was fun! I read Abbi’s ‘Nina Hill’ book so even knowing it’s different, I’ll have to consider her mystery. Some of these also look interesting so as usual, I walk away from TTT lists curious about more books. 😉 Thanks for visiting my list today.
This is a fun tag! I completely agree that a short story collection makes perfect bedtime reading.
You should share this with Jana so next year we can all do it. Very creative and thanks for including recent examples.
I listed books I’ve read that involve Halloweenish creatures. Find it Here
This is such a fun tag! I didn’t know about that Abbi Waxman book, I read her Nina Hill book and this does indeed sound quite different so I’m intrigued.
This is a super fun tag, and the questions go really well with the characters!
What a great idea! I’m going to have to do this tag too eventually. Some of these look like such great reads, I’m going to have to add them to my TBR lol.
I hope you have a spooky week and a Happy Halloween! 🎃💀👻

I have not seen this book tag, LOL! Have a great week!
This is so fun!! I love your answers!
This is so fun!! I am starting that Osman book this weekend.. and now I’m excited! haha
This is a perfect tag. I am really curious about Son. That cover is really ominous.
Oh, I think I know the scene you’re talking about in She Doesn’t Have a Clue! I was shaking my head over it, too! I think I rated that book 3 stars maybe? Love Agatha Christie and have read almost all her books. I’m slowly re-reading by audio. I’m really curious about The Day I Left You. Fun take on this topic!
Fun tag! Several of these books look right up my alley.
Happy TTT and Happy Halloween!

This is brilliant! Perfect for Halloween 🎃👻
One of these days I need to try Richard Osman.
Such a fun tag! You Started It is on my TBR, so I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Ah, this book tag was fun to read, and I bet it was fun to put together.
This is such a fun book tag! I like how it still evokes Halloween vibes even if the books aren’t necessarily Halloween-y. Have a great day!
