Happy Tuesday, y’all! This week, Jana from That Artsy Reader Girl gave us a bit of a freebie. Or is it a challenge? She’s asking us to share books with a particular word in the title. What word is that? Any word we choose. See, I told you it was a bit of a freebie and a challenge! This week, I decided to get a life. Maybe I should explain. I’m sharing ten books with the word life in the title.

I worked to keep one book per author, and if it was part of a series, I ensured it was the first book. Looking for more information about the books listed below? The titles will take you to Goodreads.

Such a lovely list. I could be tempted with a couple of these. Here’s my TTT for this week: https://damppebbles.com/2025/04/29/toptentuesday-29th-april-2025/
These all sound so good!
I’ve read The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry! I remember enjoying it. I thought of Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue (veeeery different books lol). Here is my TTT: https://thissideofstoryland.blogspot.com/2025/04/top-ten-tuesday-books-with-word-star-in.html
Between Two Kingdoms sounds interesting.
Fun idea for a title word! I haven’t read any of these, but The Bookish Life of Nina Hill is on my TBR:-)
I hope you enjoy reading The Bookish Life of Nina Hill when you get the opportunity.
Pam
I just finished Between Two Kingdoms and I am so worried for the author. I understand her cancer has returned after her second bone marrow transplant.
I hadn’t heard that.
Pam
This is a great list, found several that look interesting!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.
Love the word you chose, Pam! Someone else also chose life and added Waxman’s book to the list. I still need to read that one. Many of these sounds good. Thanks for sharing.

Great word choice! I loved Get a Life, Chloe Brown and The Bookish Life of Nina Hill.
I had to DNF Chloe, but read Nina.
Personally, A Little Life is the first book that came to mind when seeing this prompt 🙂

What a great topic! I haven’t read any of these, but they all sound really good.
Such a great choice! I’ve read quite a few of these.
I haven’t read any of these! How to Change a Life is the one that caught my eye!
Now that was a good choice! I’ve only read AJ Firky. Enjoy your week!
Great word, Pam. I have read half of these and enjoyed them. One of my favourite books with Life in the title is Joe Nuthin’s Guide to Life. I loved it.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked Get A Life, Chloe Brown.
Oooh I really like this word choice! And I really liked The Bookish Life of Nina Hill 🙂
I loved The Happy Life of Isadora Bentley! I guess my pick was kind of the opposite: Dead, lol! Great list!
What a great word to choose!
Great word choice this week! I see two favourites on here— Chloe Brown and AJ Fikry— and typing out their names just now makes me realise that they could’ve also been picks for my list this week! 😂
A great looking list. I have had my eye on a couple of them for a while. Maybe one day!
Have a great week!
I love your choice of word for the prompt! The only book I can think of right now with the word life in the title is “Life of Pi”, which I loved!

Fun word choice (and this was a fun topic, too). I recognize several of these, but I do own Courtney’s. It sounds like it’d be a great read so I should make it a priority. 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting my list last week! Apologies for not visiting here sooner.
This is a great list! I’ve only read the Talia Hibbert book from here, but I have several more on my TBR, and I couldn’t resist adding The Secret Life of CeeCee Wilkes to my TBR as well.
