One of my favs last year was By Her Own Design.
The Alice Network is still on my TBR and I don’t know why I haven’t picked it up yet because I’ve heard so many amazing things about it and I enjoyed the novella that I tried by Kate Quinn. Need to bump it up the TBR!
Iβve heard good things about To Slip the Bonds of Earth.
I really enjoyed The Heroines!! And I need to add the Murder Most French to my list!
I think you’re the first person I’ve heard say they read it. It seems like the book has flown under the radar for many years.
Pam
It really has!! I actually double checked that I had the right book in mind before I commented, because I have never heard anyone else mention it either! I also read it when it had a different cover. This one is far superior. I thought it was such a fun concept!
I still need to read The Alice Network, but it’s narrated by Saskia Maarleveld and that’s not my favourite narrator.
The narrator can make or break a book.
Pam
The Alice Network and The Air Raid Book Club were both really good. It’s so interesting to see the variety on everyone’s lists.
The Air Raid Book Club is one that I have had on my TBR! Great list.
These look great! I still have the Marion Lane series on my TBR, and I’m hoping to read it (at least book one) this year.
I enjoyed the series a lot! I think I read them back to back, or pretty close to it at least.
Pam
They sound like the kind of book where that would be an enjoyable binge!
I went with historical fiction that I have not read yet, but this would have been a great direction to go as well. Thanks for sharing!
I really enjoy historical fiction, so several of these sound appealing! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Fab list! I have a copy of The Air Raid Book Club, and I think I might also have a copy of The Alice Network too!
The Air Raid Book Club is a favourite in our library. Such a lovely cover too that I often turn it front facing. Someone always snaps it up within the hour! Thanks for visiting π
These look good. I’ve had my eye on The French Murder series.
Have a great week!
Oh somehow I haven’t read any of these! I’ll have to look into the Lauren Willig, I really loved the series she had a while ago
Loved The Alice Network and The Air Raid Book Club. Happy Tuesday, Pam!
So many interesting titles! I think I could happily read any of these. π
Oh great list!! Thanks for sharing!
Some good books on your list. The only one I have read is the Marion Lane book. I read it a few years ago and it was good. I hope you enjoy your reading.
I really liked Band of Sisters. I haven’t read any of the others. Good job!
The Alice Network is one of my daughter’s favorites. I really must give it a try. I do like Quinn’s writing. Thanks for visiting my blog.
I haven’t read any of these, but I am looking forward to The Woman with No Name, Band of Sisters, and The War Outside.
I am very drawn to the cover of Murder Most French for some reason, Id buy it for that alone?
Of your wonderful list (all of them I want to read), I have only read Marion Lane and the Midnight Murder. Such a good trilogy! I really enjoyed all three books.
I love historical fiction! I’ve only read a couple of these, but several of them are on my TBR list. I’d never heard of the Willberg series before. It sounds right up my alley. Thanks for the heads-up!
Happy TTT!

Some familiar titles here! Always fun to see what people are reading. To Slip the Bonds of Earth by Amanda Flower caught my eye being cozy mystery and a Christmas read!
Interesting twist, Pam. Same as you, I haven’t read any of your books but I loved your idea.

The Woman with No Name looks really interesting! May be one I should add to my possible-someday-to-read-titles. π Thanks for visiting my list this week.
Death at the Sanatorium is on my to read list, good to see a recommendation π
I love reading Ragnar’s books. There’s something gritty, but enjoyable to them.
Pam
I haven’t read any of these, but I enjoy historical fiction so I’ll need to add some of these to my list π
My book club loves historical fiction and Kate Quinn has to be one of our club’s favorite authors.
This week is a reminder that I really don’t read enough historical fiction. Thanks for sharing this list!
That’s a good list. I like that you included the time periods. I had my period drama era around 2 years ago. Now I’m into small-town contemporary books.
I actually found myself getting burned out with the high stakes historical fiction last year, with the will they or won’t they survive. I think that’s why I’ve started branching out more from WWII era fiction.
Pam
Wonderful list. You just reminded me I need to read the Alice Network.
I always like checking out your lists, because even if it doesn’t feature any reads I know, I nearly always find something to add to my TBR. This week it’s The War Outside and Death at the Sanatorium. I’m always so happy to see The Love Elixir of Augusta Stern featured on a list, it’s such a great read.
Sound good! I used to read a lot of historical fiction, but my tastes have evolved
My library just got To Slip the Bonds of Earth. Sounds like I definitely need to check it out!
I’ve read a few of these books, Pam, but will be adding more to my shelves. I am listening to Death at the Sanitorium on my ride home this week.
