As summer is almost here, at least in the Northern Hemisphere, I decided it would be a good time to share some books I hope to read this summer. This isn’t a list I normally make, as I tend to read whatever comes in from the library or what I grab off of my shelf. But I decided this was something I would give a try.

I am also doing this as part of the Top Ten Tuesday over at The Artsy Reader Girl. Check out her list as well!

My Summer TBR

  1. Perfect by Rachel Joyce
  2. Murder at the Vicarage by Agatha Christie
  3. Evil Under the Sun by Agatha Christie
  4. Summer Hours at the Robbers Library by Sue Halpern
  5. Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert
  6. The Midnight Bargain by C.L. Polk
  7. Spells Trouble by P.C. Cast
  8. Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne
  9. Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley
  10. Looking for Me by Beth Hoffman

My summer TBR seems to be a bit scattered now that I look at the list. The Agatha Christie books are part of a reading challenge I’m participating in this year called Read Christie 2021.

Bonus Audio Books to Read This Summer

  1. Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano
  2. The Kitchen Front by Jennifer Ryan
  3. Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers
  4. The Paris Library by Janet Skeslien Charles
  5. Nemesis by Agatha Christie

I just realized quite a few of them are new releases for 2021, especially the audio books.

Wait, I just realized I have three fantasy books to read. Not bad for someone who normally doesn’t read fantasy. And it looks like there’s five contemporary novels as well. That isn’t as surprising, as I enjoy contemporaries.

What are you hoping to read this summer?

  1. Great list! I loved Chloe Brown and heard amazing things about Firekeeper’s Daughter.
