Happy Tuesday, y’all! This week’s topic from That Artsy Reader Girl for the Top Ten Tuesday is a Halloween freebie. I decided to list 12 Books With Orange Covers. Why did I pick orange covers? Well, orange is one of the more prominent colors associated with Halloween, with the other being black.
The books I included in this list are a mix of ones I have read and ones I hope to read. I tried to list various genres so everyone could find something they liked. For more information about each book, click the cover image or the title below.
- The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules by Catharina Ingelman-Sundberg
- Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender
- Camp Half-Blood Confidential by Rick Riordan
- The Music Shop by Rachel Joyce
- Anxious People by Fredrik Backman
- Last Tang Standing by Lauren Ho
- Much Ado About You by Samantha Young
- The Final Revival of Opal and Nev by Dawnie Walton
- The Trouble with Hating You by Sajni Patel
- This Close to Okay by Leesa Cross-Smith
- The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
- The Merciless Ones by Namina Forna
And that is 12 books with orange covers. Yes, I know the orange on some of these covers is closer to red and some closer to yellow, but they are still orange.
Did you find a new orange book to read? Let me know if I missed a favorite or soon-to-be-released orange book. What color should I do next?

Ooh I like this! Orange and black are such a good combo especially for Halloween of course! I like all of these but especially the Riordan one. 🙂
Orange covers are rare…for me, they promise autumn or scariness.
Well, that was a fun way to cover today’s freebie. I love the bright orange covers. 😀
I like your choice for this week!! And, I’m off to look into The Little Old Lady book, too!
I would’ve probably struggled to come up with a list of orange covers even though I have a few of these on my TBR 😂 I LOVE the cover for The Merciless Ones—it’s so stunning! Great list 🙂
An inspired choice — choosing orange! Orange is the new black indeed. 🙂 I think that first entry is my favorite: The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules by Catharina Ingelman-Sundberg.
These all sure do look good together. That cover for The Merciless Ones is super stunning! I read and loved Felix Ever After.
These are great covers! I hadn’t seen the cover for The Merciless Ones yet. It looks so pretty!
Well done! I’ve read The Trouble With Hating You, but there are others on this list that I want to read.
I loved Felix Ever After, and cannot WAIT for The Merciless Ones to be released! Such pretty covers, and a great list.
Oh, I didn’t know The Merciless Ones was announced already, good to know.
Happy reading!

Who knew there were so many books with orange covers? I loved Much Ado About You…such a fun romance. 🙂
I just grabbed The Trouble With Hating You and Much Ado About You from the library, and I LOVED Anxious People. Great list!

Great list! I can’t think of many other books with orange covers, they’re pretty rare for fantasy novels I guess.

It’s interesting that orange is associated with Halloween because it’s such a warm, vibrant color. I guess it’s because of pumpkins? Anyway, nice list!
Happy TTT!

I love orange covers. They always look so vibrant and eye catching on my bookshelves.
Orange is an underrated book cover cover. I love the covers for Namina Forna’s series.
Felix´s cover is so pretty
Oooh, this is such a cool topic. I’d never really thought about orange covers but looking at my shelves now, I do actually have a few.
Perfect colour for autumn
Love how vibrant and festive these are!
Orange is absolutely the perfect colour for this week. My copy of Anxious People is actually blue, but it’s definitely a brilliant book!
It’s funny how the same book can have different colors!
Nice list. Orange is a great color. So many wonderful books on your list. I still need to read Anxious People.
Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog yesterday.
Felix Ever After is one of my favorite books of all time!
This is a very pretty post – orange is one of my favorite colors these days!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I’m reading Anxious People right now and loving it. I feel like I love all of these covers so much more than I was expecting, considering I’m not usually a huge fan of orange.

I don’t think I have that many orange covers…but if I looked hard enough, I might. Color posts are always fun, thanks for sharing!
Great choice of topic, I feel like orange isn’t a color I see on covers enough but these are all great ones! I loved Opal & Nev!
A fun take on this week’s TTT! I love color themes. I am still on the fence about reading Anxious People. I go back and forth all the time.
Fun pick for this week’s theme! 🙂
What an interesting idea. And orange goes so well with Halloween. I have only read “The Catcher in the Rye” but I don’t remember an orange cover.
Thanks for visiting my TTT which presents books with food on their cover.
I love this post! I’m a big fan of orange, and I love seeing all these together:-)
Love the color coordination here – such pretty orange covers! Great post 😊
I really like the trend of illustrated covers. They’re very eye-catching.
Much Ado About You is one that has been on my TBR for a while.
I actually might read ‘Anxious people’ but I don’t really read contemporary much but I did read one of Backman’s book which I liked.
Thank you for visiting my blog, have a lovely day.
I must’ve missed the cover reveal for The Merciless Ones. It looks so good 😱 This is such a cool post, thanks for sharing!
Felix Ever After and Camp Half-Blood Confidential were such good reads! Lovely post, I don’t have enough orange covered books, but they are so pretty.
I love using a specific color to curate lists like this. Makes it fun PLUS sometimes it allows me to feature books that I don’t normally. 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland on this week. Appreciate this.
I still really want to read Felix Ever After but I feel that is a book that breaks you.
Same!
