Happy Tuesday, y’all! This week, Jana, over at That Artsy Reader Girl, is asking us to share book titles that describe us or our lives. I must admit, this is an interesting idea. Who knows what books I’ll find? Shall we look at book titles that describe me together?
I tried to stick with books that I’ve actually read. All titles are linked to Goodreads.
Now, let’s look at book titles that describe me.

- How It Describes Me: When my girls were first starting school, I was a class mom and an active participant in the Parent-Teacher Association for several years.
Momma Cusses by Gwenna Laithland
- Genre: Nonfiction, Parenting
- Release Date: March 2024
- How It Describes Me: I have a way with words. By that, I mean I cuss more than most people would think when they meet me. It’s not an excuse, but after over ten years of working mostly with men, it just kind of flows out of me. Then again, I used to get in trouble when I was a kid for using certain words, too.

- How It Describes Me: Even though I’ve been an adult for several years, I still think it’s all a myth. I mean, while I have a university degree, I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.

- How It Describes Me: I have been working more on truth telling. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a liar. Well, not to anyone but myself. In recent years, I’ve worked on finding my truth and who I am outside of being a wife, mother, daughter, etc.

- How It Describes Me: I’m considering doing my own summer of yes to go along with the book above.
The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Daré

- How It Describes Me: Part of being a mother of Gen Z kids, I have pushed them to use their voices because no one knows what they are personally going through. One day, while urging my youngest (who has social anxiety) to use her voice, I realized that I need to take my own advice.
