Happy Tuesday, y’all! Jana from That Artsy Reader Girl handed this week’s Top Ten Tuesday over to P.S. I Love Books. And what did they pick for this week? We’re being asked to share animal companions. I’m not the greatest at keeping up with the names of animal companions. Then again, I don’t read many books with animal companions. Well, outside of the typical cats and dogs found in cozy mysteries. So I’ve decided to twist the topic and share book covers with animals on them. In the past, I’ve made posts featuring dogs on the cover (you can find them here and here). I’ve found covers with assorted animals this time, hence the animal farm.

I worked to keep one book per author, and if it was part of a series, I ensured it was the first book. Looking for more information about the books listed below? The titles will take you to Goodreads.
Now, let’s visit the animal farm!

Great list! I have We Solve Murders on the TBR. Here’s my TTT for this week: https://damppebbles.com/2025/05/27/toptentuesday-27th-may-2025/
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Pam
You found quite a variety of animals. I think I’m most impressed with the bison.
I love what you did with this topic! I haven’t read any of these, but I love the cover (and title) of The Predictable Heartbreaks of Imogen Finch.

I don’t think I’ve read any here except for the actual book Animal Farm! I think my copy has the two pigs on the cover lol love this twist on the topic though! Thanks for checking out my post
Love these – some great covers there!
Here’s mine for this week https://portobellobookblog.com/2025/05/27/top-ten-tuesday-27th-may-2025-animal-companions-toptentuesday-amreading-bookrecommendations-tuesdaybookblog/
Nice tweak to this week’s prompt. Have a great week!
Fun covers! There are some unique ones too. That first one with the cat is cool; it stands out because it’s unique. Thanks so much for visiting my list today. 🙂
Great twist and take on the topic!
Prairie Edge sounds interesting.
I need to check out Prairie Edge!
Great list! I think most of the books I’ve read with animal companions have been cozy mysteries, too. It seems to almost be a requirement for a cozy.
I haven’t read any of your list this week, but The Full Moon Coffee Shop is high on my TBR.
Clever twist. I am obvious to animals on covers of books but when I scrutinized your pile I determined there are probably a lot of animals hiding on covers.
Interesting choices! I know the Full Moon Coffee Shop is on my TBR.
I hope to read Richard Osman this year! Great list
OOh nice topic twist! I’ll have to use this one for a freebie one next time! I read Sarah Hawley’s book and still need to read the other 2 in this series! It was a cute and fun read! Great picks!
Thanks for visiting my TTT!
Great list! I’ve only read We Solve Murders, which I did enjoy a lot.
I need to try Richard Osman one of these days.
I have read The Full Moon Coffee Shop which I enjoyed! Looking forward to reading the second book too!
I did the same thing for my list today, except I used all cozy mysteries since those are the only books I read that consistently have animals on the covers. Oh, and I adore WE SOLVE MURDERS. I can’t wait for a sequel!
Happy TTT!

I haven’t read any of these, but my favorite animal cover is John Scalzi’s Starter Villain. Mainly because the cat on the cover looks like one I had.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
A great choice of covers! I don’t read many animal companion books either.
Have a great week!
