Happy Tuesday, y’all! This week, Jana, over at That Artsy Reader Girl, made a Halloween Freebie today. In the past, I’ve focused on covers featuring Halloween colors, such as orange and black. Today, I am continuing that with purple. You can find all of my colorful cover posts here. So, let’s see what books with purple covers I’ve read.

Books with Purple Covers: Pick a Color

I may have taken a few liberties with the shades of purple, ranging from a light purple to a deep, dark, almost black purple. I worked to keep one book per author, and if it was part of a series, I ensured it was the first book. Looking for more information about the books listed below? The titles will take you to Goodreads.

Now, let’s look at the books with purple covers I’ve read!

Contemporary

Mystery

By the Pricking of My Thumbs by Agatha Christie

Romance

Love at First by Kate Clayborn

Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne

Young Adult

Gridiron Girl by Tamara Girardi

Geekerella by Ashley Poston

That is my list of ten books with purple covers. What books have you seen with purple covers that I should read? Have you read any of these gorgeous books? Will you be adding any of these to your TBR?

  1. Purple is my favorite color! None of This Would Have Happened If Prince Were Alive is a great title. A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking has me curious.

  2. Haven’t read any of these. A book with a purple cover that comes to mind is Music in the Dark by Sally Magnusson. Actually, her book The Ninth Child also has a purple cover.

  3. Agatha Christie not only fits the color, but I feel like she fits the season SO well too. A reminder (again) that I should read one of hers someday. 😉 Thanks so much for visiting!
