This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic from That Artsy Reader Girl is Titles or Covers That Made me Buy or Want to Read the book. I decided to change it up and share some book covers that seem to scream summer. Oh, and I made the list 15 books instead of just 10.

August 2021 is here, though I’m not sure how that has happened. In honor of the summer’s heat, I decided to come up with a list of 15 book covers. Many of these books have a beach or water on their covers. For some, it was just the main color that was enough to encourage me to put it on the list for some of the covers. The story itself may not be summer-related, but the cover certainly is.

Don’t you agree that these book covers scream summer? I haven’t read any of these books yet, but they are on my TBR. Have you read any of these? Did I miss any other summer covers?

  1. These do scream summer. They also scream “Read me next” because they all look like such fun books. šŸ˜€

  2. I love summery covers! I especially love Haven Point and the Guncle! Palisades Point is nice too, as is Siren. šŸ™‚

    1. I have it on my TBR, I’ve never read any of her books, but I’m all for reading more Canadian books.

    1. I used to live in Virginia and never really loved summer either. The humidity can be horrible. Now that I’m in the Great White North (Canada), summer is a wonderful time of year.

  3. These definitely look like books to read while sitting by the pool or on a beach. Nice twist on the topic.

  4. These are definitely summer-vibe covers! It’s fun to see them all put together. I’ve read You’ve Got a Match, which is a summery read (set at a summer camp — so much fun). I’ve also read The Pearl Thief, which I don’t remember as being very summery, but I get why the cover makes it feel that way. Nice list!

  5. I love good summery covers because summer’s my favorite season. The People We Meet on Vacation was also a good summer read. I haven’t read any of these, but I do like Beth O’Leary and Elizabeth Wein.

  6. I like those illustrated covers – they are fun. The Guncle cover is pretty cute. Good list.

Thanks for visiting my blog. Have a lovely day.

  7. All of these covers do scream summer. Although, I don’t remember Meet Cute feeling like a summer read. It was kind of depressing. Not at all a rom-com like I thought it would be.

  8. These books definitely scream summer. Anything about a road trip is fun. If a book has water on the cover, it will catch my eye. The Guncle looks amazing. I saw it on another blog this week, too.
Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.
