Happy Tuesday y’all! How is it already May? I say that even though April felt forever long. But that’s a different story. Today y’all are here for my Top Ten Tuesday post. This week Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl has tasked us to pick ten random books from our bookshelf and share them with everyone. I’m not using my physical shelf because I don’t feel I can pick anything randomly. Instead, I’m using my Goodreads page to pick. Who wants to see what ten random books I own that Goodreads picked?
How did Goodreads randomly pick ten books for me to share? I have a shelf for books I own; even though I rarely keep books I have read, they are still on that shelf. The books I own shelf on Goodreads lists 295 books, though the actual number is closer to 150. While on that list, I went to the bottom of the page where you can sort the books and selected random. I did this a few times to keep getting randomly selected books.
So let’s see what ten random books I own that Goodreads picked!

I’ve read THUG. A difficult but thought provoking read.
I am enjoying seeing everyone’s random choices!
The War Bride’s Scrapbook looks interesting! But seriously, that Goodreads trick is used is superb – I’m going to try that out too, to see what cooks up!
The War Bride’s Scrapbook was such great way to tell a story.
The Hate U Give was quite interesting. I liked the film, too.

I haven’t seen the movie yet! But I hope to soon.
I keep three shelves of books I’ve read, but I’m steadily depleting these shelves these days to fill my Little Free Library. I thought Hate U Give was excellent, and I’d read anything that Rick Riordan recommends.
Love reading Rick Riordan’s books. I picked up his most recent release this week and can’t wait to read it! I rarely keep my books after I read them, but I haven’t had the chance to share them with family in the past few years so the pile is kind of large.
*that Rick Riordan writes or recommends.*
Great selection of books you have! I have read THUG and it was a good one but very tough in parts. I also really enjoy JoJo Moyes. 🙂
This looks like a really fun selection of books!
I love Amy Reichert’s books but I haven’t read that one yet!
The only one of hers that I’ve read so far is The Coincidence of Coconut Cake. I’m hoping to read this one this year.
Great picks! The only one here that I’ve read is THUG and really enjoyed it. A Holly Jolly Diwali also looks really good though 😃
I enjoyed THUG as well, and hope to read A Holly Jolly Diwali this year.
Ooh agatha Christie! And Riordan too. I haven’t red any of his books but have wanted to for years. ‘
They are so much fun! I actually picked up his latest this week.
A Holy Jolly Diwali sounds like fun

I really like Jojo Moyes, tho haven’t read that book! Have you read her newest book?
I haven’t read anything else by her, and honestly, I don’t remember reading this one.
That’s a wide variety of books! 🙂 I also have a hard time picking truly random books from my physical shelves. I have too good an idea of which books are where.

I could have asked my husband or daughter, but that seemed like too much work. LOL!
Great stuff here! I’m trying to read JoJo again–I was put off by the mess over her Kentucky book. That scrapbook looks really fun. So many good ones here! A Holly Jolly Diwali by Sonya Lalli is going straight to my tbr!
I red the Jojo Moynes books so long ago, that I really don’t remember it. The War Bride’s Scrapbook was such a great way to tell a story. As for Holly Jolly Diwali, I hope to get to that this year.
The only one of these that I’ve read so far is The Hate U Give, and it’s an absolutely fantastic book, which I highly recommend. But I hope you love all of these when you do read them!
It took me a couple of tries to read THUG, and I agree that it is a fantastic book.
It’s been years since I read THE HOUSE GIRL, but I know I liked it. Oh, and that’s a great method for randomly choosing books. Nice!
Happy TTT!

The Hate U Give is really great, I loved that one.
Same!
What a great mix of books, Pam. The only one I have read is The Hate U Give and it is excellent, although difficult to read. I have a JoJo Moyes book on my list too. Someday we’ll read them all. 😁
It took me two attempts to finish THUG because it is such a difficult read. I first attempted to read it in 2017, and found myself getting angry/depressed as it was around the time of the incident in Charlottesville, VA (which is near where I’m from). I started it over again, and finished it in 2020.
That doesn’t surprise me at all, Pam.
I’ve heard of so many of these. I would love to read The House Girl and The Hate U Give. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.
