Hey, y’all! How was your June? Mine was a little stressful, with my youngest daughter having a parade with cadets at the beginning of the month and her middle school graduation at the end. What made it all so stressful for me was my shift at work, the joys *insert eye rolls* of working the third shift. On the plus side, the weather switched from cool to HOT! I’m unsure how I feel about it, but it’s better than freezing! Because of all the family stuff this month, my reading wasn’t as successful as it was in May. So let’s check out what I did read. Here’s my Reading Wrap June 2022 edition!

Reading Wrap-Up June 2022
Looking at my May Wrap Up, I kept my TBR short of June. And because of that, I managed to read them all. I only completed one of my reading challenges for the month, as I had trouble locating the suggested book for the Agatha Christie challenge, and I had already read the other books. In total, I read six books. I did DNF a book but didn’t count it on the table above because I only read two or three pages.

A Brief Description of Books Read in June 2022
Fake It Till You Bake It: This rom-com introduces readers to Jada Townsend-Matthews, a woman trying to figure her life out after a disastrous appearance on a reality show, and Donovan Dell, a cupcake bakery owner. July 2022 TBR
I have three ARCs to read for July, plus my two reading challenges. One is Read Christie 2022 from the Official Agatha Christie website, and the other is a Buzzwords Challenge from Kayla over at Books and Lala. On top of that, I have a huge pile of ARCs to read for August. Oh, and I’m taking a week’s vacation later in July. Fingers crossed, I get everything read that I want to read.
- The Book of Lost Names by Kristin Harmel (Buzzwords)
- At Bertram’s Hotel by Agatha Christie (Read Christie 2022)
- The Bodyguard by Katherine Center (ARC)
- For Butter or Worse by Erin La Rosa (ARC)
- No Parm No Foul by Linda Reilly (ARC)
And that is my Reading Wrap up for June 2022 and a small sample of my July TBR. How was your reading in June? What’s on your July TBR?

I think you’ll enjoy Book of Lost Names and Bodyguard! 🙌
Thank you! I hope I enjoy them both.
Sounds like a good month of family stuff, even though it wasn’t as much reading as a result. One For All is still on my TBR. I’ve been meaning to get to it, but just haven’t yet. I hope you enjoy your July reading! No Parm No Foul is a perfectly punny cozy mystery title, and it makes me smile every time I see it.
