Happy Thursday, y’all! This week’s tag is another one that I found while doing a Google search. It’s a topic that will help you learn more about me and my reading habits, or at least my ARC habits. I found the most recent version of the NetGalley Book Tag over at Read Writing and Me.

Auto-Approved | Who’s One Author Whose Books You Automatically Want to Read, Regardless of What They Are About?
Recently, there have been a few authors I automatically request.
- Ragnar Jonasson
- Colleen Cambridge
- Abbi Waxman
Request | What Makes You Want to Request a Book on NetGalley?
For me to request an ARC, the book has to be one I want to read. I look at a few genres, but if the synopsis doesn’t keep my interest, then I won’t. Do I suffer from FOMO (fear of missing out)? Occasionally, I’ll add a book to my TBR but not request the ARC. Why? Because I’m not 100% certain I want to read it.
Feedback Ratio | Do You Review Every Book You Read? If Not, How Do You Decide What Books to Review?
If I read the book, I write the review. If it’s a DNF, I’ll post comments on Goodreads about how much I’ve read and why I stopped reading it.
Badges | If You Could Create One Badge to Display on Your Blog, What Would It Be For?
While I like seeing the review badge on NetGalley, it would be nice to see different badges. Maybe ones about genre, or ARCs read in a specific period.
Wish for It | What’s One Book You Are Dying to Read?
I’m not sure there’s a specific book I’m dying to read. But there are a few that I’m anticipating later this year.
- A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping by Sangu Mandanna
- Accomplice to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer
- The Court of the Dead by Rick Riordan and Mark Oshiro
What Was the Last Book You Received as an ARC Reviewed? If You’ve Never Received One, What’s the Last Book You Reviewed?
The last ARC I reviewed was for The Queens of Crime by Marie Benedict. You can find my review here. I am currently reading the ARC for Finding Flora by Elinor Florence.
That’s my take on the NetGalley Book Tag. If you’ve read this far and want to give it a try, consider yourself tagged. I look forward to seeing your responses to the NetGalley Book Tag.

Oh, this is a cool tag! A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping is on my TBR as well! I hope you get it if you have requested it! I agree on the badges; it would be nice to see a genre one. Happy reading 🙂
