Happy Tuesday, y’all! How are we already in October? I mean, seriously, where has 2024 gone? Anyway, let’s get back on topic. Today, Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl is asking us to share books we’ve either read or avoided due to the hype they’ve gotten. I decided to twist that a bit and hype some books I’ve read so far in 2024 that deserve more hype. Who’s with me? Let’s hype these books so they can get the love they deserve.
The books on this list are a mix of new releases and ones that may have been forgotten. But one thing is sure: they all deserve more attention. You’ll also find a mix of genres on this list because I love reading from various genres. One thing is sure: you’ll only see one book per author. And if the book is part of a series, I’ll only pick the first book. All titles will take you to the book’s Goodreads page.
Now, let’s hype these books!

I don’t mind at all. I can’t wait to see your list.

🙌
I like the sound of Cover Me. It’s surprising sometimes to discover a song you love wasn’t the original!
I love it that you chose to feature books that have not gotten enough hype.
Prairie Edge does look interesting.
Um,now I want to read all of these! I just added Benji Zeb to my holds at the library. I saw it over on Leah’s blog this morning already and was going to request. Seeing it here too, I went and ahead and did it.
I found it through Leah a month or so ago. It’s such a great story. There were times I stood on my back deck with a cup of tea reflecting on the converstations in the book.
Pam
Oh I love that. I requested it from the library yesterday so hopefully I will get it soon. 🙂
Julie’s book looks beautiful albeit perhaps too sad of a read. Time to Rise looks REALLY fun though! I love the colors of that one and how it stands out. 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting my list today. I appreciate this.
There is a bit of sadness, but in the end it’s worth it.
Pam
A book about Katharine Wright? It must be fascinating to hear her perspective on the first plane!
Good tweak to the topic. I’ll look at these more tonight.
I’ve not heard of a single one of these books before, but Chaos at the Lazy Bones Bookshop sounds really interesting. I hope you have a wonderful week.
Here’s my TTT if you wish to visit – https://justanothergirlandherbooks.blogspot.com/2024/09/top-ten-tuesday-books-i-bought-because.html
Great approach!
I love the cover of Our Cursed Love!
I haven’t heard of any of these but I love your take on this week’s topic! I’m really intrigued by the cover of Cold so I think I might have to try and find a copy.
As a music lover, I love the idea of “Cover Me”. Woman with no Name sounds REALLY interesting, and I’m a sucker for any book with bicycles on the cover.
I like your take on this weeks TTT! I’ll have to check these out!
I don’t think I am familiar with any of these, so thank you for introducing me.
Great twist on the topic! I hadn’t heard of any, but I’ll be checking out Benji Zeb is a Ravenous Werewolf and Chaos at the Lazy Bones Bookshop now, so mission accomplished!
A nice twist on the topic! I like the look of Chaos At The Lazy Bones Bookshop.
Have a great week!
Great list, Pam! I’ve had The Woman With No Name on my TBR list for a long time now. I really should get to that one. I hope you have a great Wednesday!
Great topic — and I suspect you’re right that these books need more hype, because I’m not familiar with any of them! I do have a copy of Audrey Blake’s previous book on my TBR (and I still do want to get to it), and this new one looks really interesting too.
Chaos at the Lazy Bones Bookshop needs to go to my tbr
I haven’t read any of these, but I like a good mystery, so I’ll have to check some of these out. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Fun topic twist!! I haven’t heard of any these so now I need to go through and add some to my TBR. 🙂
I love your twist on the topic! I’ve heard of a few of these books, but not all, so thanks for the recs. I’ll definitely be checking out several of these.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I like your list. These are all new-to-me titles. I’m especially intrigued by Time to Rise. I love cooking shows, so this one really appeals to me.
Love your take on the topic. From your list, I am most intrigued by the one on Halloween and the sister of the Wright brothers. I will have to search for them. Thanks for visiting my blog earlier and leaving the link.
I love your spin on this topic! To Slip the Bonds of Earth sounds really interesting.
I have that Amanda Flower book in my Kindle to read. You have some other good looking ones on your list too – the nonfiction ones look very good.
These all sound really good! Such a fun twist to the topic!
Chaos at the Lazy Bones Bookshop sounds soo good!
I love that you’re hyping up books!! I’ll definitely look into some of these! Cover Me sounds really interesting, and Chaos at the Lazy Bones Bookshop gets me just by its title!

This is an excellent list, as usual. Cold sounded so interesting that I had to add it. Genre mash-ups can be really great, and you already know how much I love Benji Zeb is a Ravenous Werewolf, and it makes me so happy to see it on a list of books deserving more hype!
It’s because you mentioned Benji Zeb that I had to check it out. It’s a great read no matter the age.
Pam
I’m thrilled that you not only read it, but got as much out of it as I did!
I’ve been seeing the name Deke Moulton around more lately so I clearly need to check them out.
