Happy Friday, y’all! We’re in the final countdown to Christmas morning; only a few more days are left. If your house is much like mine, Christmas morning starts with a flurry of gifts and wrapping paper. After that has happened and the mess is slightly cleaned up, it’s time for breakfast. The thing is, no one wants to make a huge breakfast or spend hours making the meal. I’ve started compiling a few recipes to ease that burden. And I’ve decided to share my Christmas morning breakfast ideas with you.
Below are a variety of recipes. Some are overnight casseroles, while others are easy ways to make large quantities of food.
Now, let’s look at some of my Christmas morning breakfast ideas.
Chocolate Chip Party Pancakes from Megan at Delish
These pancakes are perfect for feeding a crowd. And they are so easy to make, as you’ll use your favorite pancake mix. Then, bake on a sheet pan for about 15 minutes. You can add different toppings such as berries, bananas, and sprinkles if you want variety.
Cook Bacon in the Oven from Kristin at Iowa Girl Eats
Does your family enjoy bacon? Have you tried making it in the oven? It is easy to make a large amount of bacon and keeps the stovetop free for other dishes.
Baked Bagel Chips from Deanna at Tastes of Homemade
These bagel chips are lovely for snacking or adding to a breakfast spread. To add some variety, you can add a cream cheese dip. While the recipe mentions garlic powder and other savory flavors, you can also use sweet seasonings. Cinnamon raisin bagels are wonderful seasoned with cinnamon sugar.
Chocolate Croissant Breakfast Bake from Plain Chicken
This recipe is for an overnight casserole with cheesecake flavors. It’s delicious and quick to throw together.
Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole from Holly at Spend with Pennies
This overnight casserole is packed with protein and vegetables if you want something less sweet for breakfast.
