Happy Tuesday, y’all! This week, Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl is asking us to share books we haven’t reviewed. While there may be a few that I haven’t reviewed, it’s not worth mentioning. If I haven’t reviewed the books on my blog, odds are I have left my thoughts and comments on Goodreads. So, instead, I’m sharing my favorite mysteries I read in 2024.

  1. Great change in topic! I can’t wait to read more Thursday Murder Club books and Benjamin Stevenson books. I’ve also been thinking about picking up Killers of A Certain Age recently so I hope to actually pick it up this year 🙂

  2. Mysteries! I love mysteries. I have read one Colleen Cambridge book which I really liked and want to read more. I am glad to see one of her books make your list! I think all the rest are ones I want to read too and some are even on my TBR. I have read Killers of a Certain Age, which I really enjoyed.

  3. From this list I’ve read The Thursday Murder Club and Killers of a Certain Age and enjoyed both of them! I am interested in checking out Chaos at the Lazy Bones Bookshop, mostly because what a great title! Great post idea, thanks for sharing!

  4. These look great! I have The Thursday Murder Club on my bookshelf, and I’m hoping to read it soon. And I recently got Everyone On This Train Is a Suspect out from the library—let’s see if I can read it soon before it’s due back!

  5. I adore mysteries, so thanks for highlighting your favorites! I read THE THURSDAY MURDER CLUB when it first came out, but never continued on with the series. I need to. Osman’s latest, WE SOLVE MURDERS, was one of my favorite reads of last year. The Benjamin Stevenson series is fabulous. One of my absolute favorites. I also love Raybourn’s Veronica Speedwell series, although I haven’t read anything else by her. *Sigh* So many mysteries, so little time…

    Happy TTT!

    1. I would recomend starting with a cozy mystery. They tend to be a bit more fun and not too detailed on the crime scenes. Chaos at the Lazy Bones Bookshop is a set in a town that loves to celebrate Halloween. To Slip the Bonds of Earth is a historical mystery that is set in the early 1900s and features the Wright brothers.

  6. I don’t think I’ve heard of Everyone On This Train Is a Suspect, but that title alone makes me curious. Another one to add to my mental look-into-adding-to-my-TBR list. 🙂 Thanks for visiting my list today.

    1. The first book in the series is Eveyone In My Family Has Killed Someone. That title is what got me curious about the books. I read that in 2023, and loved it. There’s something about the writing style that is such fun.

  7. Ooh nice topic choice! I’ve read a handful of mysteries last year I’d say. Some books had a mystery in them, but I struggle to say if they were actual mystery reads.

    Thanks for visiting my TTT!

  8. I like mysteries and suspense, but I don’t like cozy mysteries. I have no idea why there is a disconnect there, I feel like there shouldn’t be, then continue to try cozies, only to be annoyed when i don’t like it or can’t get into it!
