Happy Thursday y’all! I came across the Fall Into Reading Book Tag a couple of weeks ago and just knew that I had to do it. Rae from Rae’s Reading World created this tag to celebrate the season. You should check out her answers.

Fall Into Reading Book Tag

This tag is a little different than most because it has five tag questions and five book recommendations.

Pumpkin Patch (a book with an orange cover)

I haven’t read Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender, but it is on my TBR!

Corn Maze (book that you got completely engrossed in)

I couldn’t pick just one. Instead, I’m sharing 3 of my favorites from this year: The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot by Marianne Cronin, Legendborn by Tracy Deonn, and Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley.

Fall Leaves (book with orange, red, and/or gold on the cover)

I am surprised to say that I found 2 in the books that I’ve read this year. One is the middle-grade fantasy Tilly and the Bookwanderers by Anna James. The other is the adult thriller A Bad Day for Sunshine by Darynda Jones.

Sweater Weather (go to cozy comfort reading genre or book)

I don’t typically reread books, but I do love a cozy read! So I’m sharing a few that I’ve read this year. The first is what I would call a cozy romance, The Bookshop on the Corner by Jenny Colgan. The second is a new cozy mystery, Farm to Trouble, by Amanda Flower. The third is also a new cozy mystery, Death in Bloom by Jess Dylan.

Apple Picking (book with an outdoor setting/element)

This year, I read an interesting non-fiction book. What made it so interesting? It’s a mix of travelogue, memoir, history, and environmental book. What book is this? It is Two Trees Make a Forest: Travels Among Taiwan’s Mountains & Coasts in Search of My Family’s Past by Jessica J. Lee.

5 Book Recommendations for Autumn

Recently, I’ve done a couple of posts similar to this. One is Books Who’s Covers Have Autumn Feels. That post has 15 books listed with autumn-like covers, even if they may not be set in autumn. The other post is my Autumn TBR, even though they may not be actual autumn books.

And that is the Fall Into Reading Book Tag! Did my answers surprise you? How would you have answered the questions? Let me know in the comments. And please, check out Rae’s Reading World when you get the chance.
