Happy Tuesday y’all! How has everyone’s June been so far? Mine has been a little crazy, thus why I’ve missed the past couple of Tuesdays. But I’m back this week! Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl has named this week’s theme to be Books I Wish Had an Epilogue. In general, I’m happy with the way that most books end. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t love more of those stories, but I’m not sure if an epilogue would do it justice. Instead, I will share a list of Books Mentioned in a Recent Read. I was surprised to find so many books in another book that I just had to share!

So what book have I been reading that is so full of other books? It is Phaedra Patrick’s latest release, The Messy Lives of Book People. I’m not quite through with it, but I am enjoying the book and hope to have a review in the next week or so. The titles will take you to their Goodreads page, and the images will take you to Amazon.

And that’s my list of Books Mentioned in a Recent Read! Isn’t it fun to find books to add to your TBR in other books? Have you read any of these? Would you recommend any of them?

    1. Honestly, the only ones I’ve read are the kids books. Though I do have Evelyn Hugo on my TBR.

  1. This is a fun take! I loved Big Little Lies soit would be neat to see that mentioned, and I do want to read Evelyn Hugo.

  2. I do like finding other books mentioned in the book I’m reading. And I’m so happy to see Garden Spells in your list! Sarah Addison Allen is a local author for me so I’ve been to several of her books launches. She is so nice! I have to buy her books as soon as they come out. I’ve read a couple of Phaedra Patrick’s books and enjoyed them so I’ll have to be sure to check this one out too.

  3. Such a fun topic. I don’t know that I’ve ever paid much attention to book mentions when I read but now I’m definitely going to pay more attention. 🙂
