Happy Tuesday, y’all! It’s that time again. What time is it? It’s time to share our seasonal TBR. Jana, over at That Artsy Reader Girl, asks us to share a seasonal TBR every quarter. For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, that means our Autumn 2024 TBR. For my Autumn 2024 TBR, I will list books I hope to read from October to December 2024.

Autumn 2024 TBR: Ten Books I Hope to Read

How did my Summer 2024 TBR go? Not too great, honestly! I read one of the ten books I listed, and I may finish at least one more. I also DNFed one.

In 2024, I plan to focus more on reading my current TBR instead of trying to read all the new books. I have come up with ten categories of books that I want to focus on each quarter. These books currently reside on my physical bookshelf, so I have no excuse not to read them.

All titles are linked to Goodreads.

Without further ado, here is my Autumn 2024 TBR!

Elephants Can Remember by Agatha Christie

  • Genre: Mystery
  • Release Date: November 1972
  • Category: Shortest Book (160 pages)
  • Note: I own a copy different from the one I’m linking to. This one is around 250 pages.

The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton

  • Category: Longest Book (496 pages)

Petals and Poison by Jess Dylan

  • Genre: Cozy Mystery
  • Release Date: November 2021
  • Category: Fewest Ratings (227)

The Starlet and the Spy by Ji-min Lee

  • Release Date: July 2009
  • Category: Lowest Average Rating (3.14)

Christmas at the Vinyl Cafe by Stuart McLean

  • Genre: Christmas Anthology
  • Release Date: October 2019
  • Category: Highest Average Rating (4.55)

Poirot Investigates by Agatha Christie

  • Genre: Mystery
  • Release Date: March 1924
  • Category: Oldest Book by Original Release Date

My Roommate Is a Vampire by Jenna Levine

  • Genre: Paranormal Romance
  • Release Date: August 2023
  • Category: Newest Book by Original Release Date

Dreaming in Chocolate by Susan Bishop Crispell

  • Genre: Romance
  • Release Date: February 2018
  • Category: On TBR the Longest (October 2022)

Miss Marple’s Final Cases by Agatha Christie

  • Genre: Mystery
  • Release Date: October 1979
  • Category: Most Recent Addition to TBR (April 2024)

And that concludes my Autumn 2024 TBR! Hopefully, I’ll be reading more books than these. Why do I say that? Because I currently have access to these books. And that means I can read them when I’m ready! Which one should I start with?

How did your Summer 2024 TBR go? What books are on your Autumn 2024 TBR? I would love to know!

  1. I love all the Agatha Christie on your list! I haven’t read any of hers for a couple years. And I’ve heard good things about Remarkably Bright Creatures!

  2. Each time I see an Agatha Christie novel I’m confronted with the fact that I should give one of hers a chance! Some of these are titles I don’t think I’ve heard of by her too so that’s fun! 🙂 Hope you enjoy these all and have a happy fall TBR reading experience. Thanks so much for visiting my list today.

  3. I’m always one to write a TBR and then pretty much ignore it so I’m not sure how my summer went. I hate in when we wind up with a DNF but there is no point in reading something we aren’t enjoying. Based on the cover, The Secret Keeper and Petals and Poison look like reads I might like.

  4. I should have added any Agatha Christie into my TBR, but I kind of forgot, focusing on other challenges. I miss reading her books though. My Roommate is a Vampire sounds fun!
Thanks for stopping by my TTT.

  5. How nice to have everything on your bookshelf! I have very little on mine. Unless you count cookbooks. Happy reading!
