Happy Tuesday y’all! January is grinding to an end. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I’m not sure, but it sure has been a strange month. This week, Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl is asking us to share new authors we found in 2022. Like last year, I debated if I should focus on debut authors or just ones I read for the first time in 2022. While looking through the books I read last year, I discovered many of my favorite reads of 2022 were books by authors I first read in 2022. So you can consider this a part two of my favorite reads of 2022.
All titles link to Goodreads.

Great list, Pam! I’m hoping to read Washington Black this year cos I’ve had that book on my shelf for ages. I’m also hoping to *finally* read one of the Emily Henry books! 😂 I also read Quinn for the first time last year. I need to read a full length novel by her asap!
Fab list! I enjoyed Book Lovers but wasn’t so keen on The Rose Code.
I haven’t read any of these books yet. I hope you liked all of them!

I’m so glad you found all of them! The only one I’ve read is Henry.
Glad you found so many good reads in 2022! I haven’t read anything by Kate, but do see the authors books quite a lot on various lists. 🙂 Thanks so much for visiting my wesbite today.
I read WASHINGTON BLACK in 2022 also. What an eye-opening book. I read Courtney Summer in 2020 and was heartbroken by the book.
I’ve only read Emily Henry before, but Kate Quinn is on my TBR as well so I hope to try some of her books soon.
I think Kate Quinn is the only author I have read from your list–I really enjoyed The Rose Code too when I read it. Several of the authors you mention are ones I’d like to try someday–and even have books of theirs on my TBR shelf! Thank you for sharing!
Emily Henry and Kate Quinn are two of my favorite authors. Great list.
Nice List! I enjoyed Emily Henry’s book, and several of Kate Quinn’s are on my TBR list.
I have read Emily Henry but none of the other authors. I hope you discover more new authors this year too 🙂 Have a great week.
Great list! I ordered Radar Girls today. Good thing for B&N gift cards. Here’s to discovering more new authors in 2023.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Nice list, Pam. I have read 5 of these authors, so that means 5 more to check out. I hope my TBR shelf doesn’t grow too much today.
I adore Emily Henry. I have Sadie as an audiobook to listen to, I’ve had it a while, I always hear really excellent things about it. I also haven’t read Kate Quinn yet and I know a lot of people who really love her books and they seem like books I would enjoy so I must try to squeeze her in.
I think I’ve only read Sara Ackerman. When You Look Like Us sounds good.
Two Parts Sugar and One Murder sounds a very charming and funny book! Will check if there’s an audiobook version of it.
I thought Sadie was underwhelming, but I heard the audiobook is amazing.
Thanks for visiting my TTT list earlier!
I read my first Katherena Vermette book in 2022 as well, and was blown away by her writing! And I keep seeing Kate Quinn on everyone’s list, and it’s making me feel like I’m missing out – she’s definitely going to be an author I read in 2023.
I’m supposed to be reading The Rose Code this year from a friend rec. Glad to see it on a list this week.
I enjoyed Emily Henry’s books! Great list and thanks for visiting my TTT!
Great mixed list – I like seeing a mix of genres! I’ve read several and add one to my TBR, Sadie sounds really good. I love finding new authors and this week is certainly adding to my TBR with every visit! Thanks for the visit.

I have a Kate Quinn book on my TBR pile which I’m looking forward to. Glad you’ve found some new authors to enjoy.
Quinn and Henry are two authors I’ve been meaning to read, but just haven’t gotten to yet. Hopefully, I’ll get to them this year. Glad you found so many new authors to love in 2022!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I love Kate Quinn, I found her books in 2021 and she fast became a favourite author and one whose new releases I look out for now. I can highly recommend both of the other books of hers I’ve read, The Alice Network and The Diamond Eye, though I haven’t read her other WWII book, The Huntress.

I’ve had The Alice Network on my TBR for ages. I hope to get around to reading it this year.
I hope you enjoy it!
I have Two Parts Sugar, One Part Murder on my library holds list! Sounds like a fun read.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I’ve only read Book Lovers and Washington Black but really liked them. Several others are on my TBR and others look intriguing. I hope you find even more new-to-you authors you like in 2023!
I’ve only read Book Lovers from your list, but several others are on my tbr. While I did enjoy Book Lovers, Beach Read still remains my favorite of Henry’s books, with People We Meet on Vacation coming in second. I read my first story by Quinn last year, too, but it was her short story Signal Moon. I really enjoyed it. I need to read more by her, as well. Happy reading!
Kate Quinn is on my to-read list and I hope I will this year.. the only author I have read on your list is Emily Henry… and I did enjoy her writing
Here is my TTT
Looks like you’ve got a great list. I haven’t read any of these but I have Emily Henry on my TBR. I hope you’ll get to read some great ones this year too 😉
Ahh, I’ve gotta get to Emily Henry one of these days. I feel like almost everyone who’s interested in that genre and has tried one of her books walks away happy, which bodes very well.
What’s the bonus content in Sadie like? (if that’s the edition you read) Her books mostly don’t click with me but this was a pleasant exception and I’m curious about anything extra I can get.
I love love love Courtney Summers. Fiercely. Sadie still lives rent free in my head and heart, and always will.
