Summer 2026 TBR: Ten Books I Hope to Read

Happy Tuesday, y’all! It’s that time again. What time is it? It’s time to share our seasonal TBR. Jana, over at That Artsy Reader Girl, asks us to share a seasonal TBR every quarter. For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, that means our Summer 2026 TBR. For my Summer 2026 TBR, I will list books I hope to read from July to September 2026.

How did my Spring 2026 TBR go? Not so good, honestly! I read two of the ten books I listed. And there’s still time to read one more. Unfortunately, there were a few DNFs. But 5 out of 10 is still pretty good, right?

In 2024, I focused more on reading my current physical TBR instead of trying to read all the new books. I have come up with 10 book categories I want to focus on each quarter. Most of the books on my list will be from my bookshelf. I also want to show my library some love, so several of the books will be from the library.

And that concludes my Summer 2026 TBR! Hopefully, I’ll be reading more books than these. Why do I say that? Because I currently have access to these books. And that means I can read them when I’m ready! Which one should I start with?
