How has June been treating you? So far, it’s been a pretty good month for me. I’ve been busy; I’m trying to keep my reading up and take care of myself. So when I was looking for a book tag to do this week, I found the “Do I Have That Book?” over on Jenna Terese’s page.

Do I Have That Book?

The questions with this tag are pretty simple. They are basically a treasure hunt through the books sitting on my shelves when I’m writing this.

Do you have a book with tattered edges?

Tattered edges, as in pages no. Tattered edges, as in covers, yes. That’s what happens when you like authors whose books were published before your lifetime. For example, I’m a huge fan of Agatha Christie and Ian Fleming and have books printed in the 1950s and 1960s.

Do you have a book with 3+ people on the cover?

The Unlikely Adventures of the Shergill Sisters by Balli Kaur Jaswal

Do you have a book based on another fictional story?

The Abduction of Pretty Penny by Leonard Goldberg is a Daughter of Sherlock Holmes Mystery. Does that count? Or better yet, Geekerella by Ashley Poston.

Do you have a book with a title 10 letters long?

Easy to Kill by Agatha Christie

Do you have a book with a title that beings and ends with the same letter?

Not that I can see

Do you have a mass-market paperback book?

The Lost and Found Bookshop by Susan Wiggins

Do you have a book written by an author using a pen name?

The Cuckoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith

Do you have a book with a character’s name on it?

The Mystery of Mrs. Christie by Marie Benedict

Do you have a book with two maps on it?

Nope, I don’t think I even have any with maps inside them, except maybe a couple of non-fiction books. One is about the Tour de France, and the other is a list of books from around the world.

Do you have a book that was turned into a TV show?

I’ll have to repeat one and go with The Cuckoo’s Calling. I haven’t seen the adaptation, but I have heard that it’s pretty good.

Do you have a book written by someone who is originally famous for something else? (Celebrity/Athlete/Politician/TV Personality…)

As You Wish by Cary Elwes is a memoir/history of his time with The Princess Bride movie.

Do you have a book with a clock on the cover?

The closest I have is Towards Zero by Agatha Christie. It has an hourglass on the cover.

Do you have a poetry book?

No, but I do know which one I want, as I read it a couple of times in high school. I even wrote a paper about the book. It’s called Spoon River Anthology by Edgar Lee Masters.

Do you have a book with an award stamp on it?

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. The copy I have has a National Book Award Longlist sticker.

Do you have a book written by an author with the same initials as you?

I have several with the same last initial and a few with the same first initial. But there are none with the same initials I have

Do you have a book of short stories?

A Snow Garden by Rachel Joyce

Do you have a book that is between 500-510 pages?

The Alice Network by Kate Quinn has 503 pages.

Do you have a book that was turned into a movie?

I sure do! I have From Russia, With Love; You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me, Quantum of Solace, Live and Let Die, Goldfinger, Thunderball, and Casino Royale, all from Ian Fleming.

Do you have a graphic novel?

The Lost Hero: The Heroes of Olympus Book 1 by Rick Riordan and adapted by Robert Venditti

Do you have a book written by 2 or more authors?

The Bughouse Affair by Marcia Muller and Bill Pronzini

See, the questions were pretty quick and easy. Pretty painless too. It did take me a bit longer than I realized it would to answer some of these questions. But it was fun looking through all of my books.
