Good morning, y’all! Well, we have reached the end of September. And that means we have reached the end of the year’s third quarter. What? How did that happen so quickly? Am I the only one who feels like we blinked and it was over? Anyway, this year, I decided to do updates on my quarterly TBR. I post a seasonal TBR every quarter and share it at That Artsy Reader Girl. And now that we are through the third quarter of the year, I thought it was a great time to do a Summer 2024 TBR update. Did I read all ten books I had hoped to read?

- Thoughts: DNF at 32%. There is too much skipping around in time to keep the story straight.
Let Loose the Dogs by Maureen Jennings

- Thoughts: I love the show based on this series. I’m hoping to make time to read this one.
The Forgotten First by Keyshawn Johnson

- Thoughts: I am enjoying this book. While it’s nonfiction, it’s enjoyable learning about my favorite sport.
The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman

- Rating: 4.5-stars
- Thoughts: A fun read with plenty of twists and turns. I can’t wait to read more of the series.
White Fang by Jack London

That concludes my Summer 2024 TBR Update. I must say, reading 1 out of 10 feels pretty poor for me. I had a lot of ARCs to read over the summer, so that’s probably why. I actually saw the movie back in the spring when I was on my cruise. That was part of what made me want to read the book. Sadly, the book just confused me too much.
