Hey, y’all! How was your November? Mine was weird, and I can’t quite put my finger on why. My schedule at work has been a bit all over the place because of extended vacations and just nearing the end of the calendar year. And don’t get me started on the weirdness of what’s happening at work. Let’s say I am affiliated with a major manufacturing company suffering from supply chain issues. But most of these issues aren’t from overseas; they are local issues! That means it will be a nightmare when things get straightened out in the coming weeks! But let’s forget that and get to why we are all here-my reading wrap-up November 2022!

Reading Wrap-Up November 2022

Reading Wrap-Up November 2022

November wasn’t a great reading month. In total, I managed five books, three physical and two audio. I read two of the three books from the TBR I mentioned in my October Wrap-Up. It’s easy when there are ARCs on the TBR because there’s a deadline to read those. What didn’t help is one of those ARCs didn’t draw me in until I was almost halfway through. Then I didn’t want to stop reading it! Of the two audiobooks, one was for one of my most anticipated releases for the year.

What Did I Read in November 2022?

  1. The Lindbergh Nanny by Mariah Fredricks
  2. Fool Me Once by Ashley Winstead
  3. None of This Would Have Happened If Prince Were Alive by Carolyn Prusa
  4. Amari and the Great Game by B.B. Alston
  5. An Assassin’s Guide to Love and Treason by Virginia Boecker

A Brief Description of What I Read in November 2022

The Lindbergh Nanny: In the 1930s, no one is more famous than Charles Lindbergh; by association, his son is the most famous baby. But what happened to little Charlie on that cold, wet March evening? Was Betty Gow, his beloved nanny, involved? For a complete review, click here.

Fool Me Once: Lee Stone is a modern woman living by her own rules. Suddenly, her past meets her across from a boardroom table. Ben is the one that got away. Will they be able to move from their messy past to work on their campaign? Will they find their history can help shape their future?

None of This Would Have Happened If Prince Were Alive: With a category four hurricane coming, Ramona is struggling with finding the work-life balance she craves. Trying to be there for everyone except herself, Ramona finds herself trying to figure out what’s next for her and her family. For a complete review, click here.

Amari and the Great Game: Amari is the center of attention after a magical occurrence, and she’s not impacted. Who caused time to stop, and why? What does this mean for magicians?

An Assassin’s Guide to Love and Treason: Katherine has been keeping secrets her entire life. Toby has been hiding a part of himself from the world. One has vowed revenge, and one has vowed to work for the queen. What happens when their paths cross?

December TBR

I’m going to keep this month’s TBR short and sweet. I mean, December is a crazy enough month; why add the stress of an extensive TBR? I have two ARCs to read for December, plus my two reading challenges. One is Read Christie 2022 from the Official Agatha Christie website, and the other is a Buzzwords Challenge from Kayla over at Books and Lala. I’m unsure what book I’ll be reading for the Christie challenge as I don’t know the options for December yet. I’ve moved my holiday books to a prominent place and surprised myself to discover I have 18. I wonder how many of those I will get through?

And that is my Reading Wrap-Up for November 2022 and a small sample of my December TBR. How was your reading in November? What’s on your December TBR?

  1. Hi there Pam!!

You had some great books for November! None of this would have happened if Prince were alive has such a catchy title.

I hope you will enjoy your December reads! The lipstick Bureau does look like a brilliant read. Keep us posted!

  2. Amari! I need to start that series!

My November was surprisingly good. (Though I also had 2 DNF books… I guess those still count as progress?) I want to read some seasonally appropriate books for December, but we’ll see how well I do with that. I’m so much more of a mood reader these days.

Best of luck with the work issues!

  3. I loved the first Amari so much, I was a bit letdown by the second one. But I think that was almost inevitable when my hopes were so high. I still need to review it.

I saw the Prince book mentioned somewhere else recently. The title really caught my attention.

Good luck with your December reading and work!
