Happy Foodie Friday, y’all! This week I decided to share a list of Fun Foodie Holidays in June 2022. I know June isn’t here yet, but it soon will be. How else will we celebrate these holidays if we don’t know about them ahead of time? And don’t we need time to prepare?
I’ve always been intrigued by the concept of National months and days. Who creates these holidays? Why do they make them? And most of all, how do they celebrate these days? To celebrate a few of these holidays, I will try to compile posts for the month. That way you can celebrate as well.
I compiled this list of holidays from a much more extensive list at National Day Calendar. For more information about each holiday, click on the name, and it will give you more details about that holiday. The holidays that are in italics are international celebrations.
National Food Months in June 2022
It looks like June has some tasty monthly celebrations. I mean, it’s Candy Month. How can that be a bad thing? You may notice that one holiday is not exactly food-related, but we wouldn’t have much food without pollinators.

Not every day in June has some holiday connected to it, like June 15 and 28. But those that do have some sound like fun (June 18, International Picnic Day). Though I think Iced Tea Day on June 10 can be fun if you like to experiment with tea. International Days are in italics, and there are quite a few in June 2022.

I think I’ll have to celebrate Doughnut Day this year for sure! And maybe chocolate eclair day, too.
Personally, I think it’s really appropriate that Bubbly Day, Cheese Day, and Cognac Day are all on the same day. They pair well together!
