Happy Tuesday y’all! Are you ready for the holidays? Christmas is just about a month away. Our tree went up this weekend. And I spent Sunday evening watching Hallmark holiday movies. In honor of that, I will twist this week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic. Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl wants us to share some of our favorite cozy reads. Instead, I will share some cozy gift ideas for book lovers, though they would be perfect for anyone!

Cozy Gift Ideas for Book Lovers

All images will take you to Amazon.

Blankets

Every reader loves curling up under a blanket on a cool day and reading. Blankets can also be personalized to the reader.

Socks

While I hate wearing shoes, socks are a necessity in the winter. Maybe it has something to do with living in Canada, but you can’t go barefoot in the house in the winter.

Hooded Sweatshirts

Some people also call these hoodies, and others call them hooded sweatshirts. To me, they are perfection! You can get generic hoodies; you can get them specific to readers, and even better, specific to certain books!

Candles

I don’t know why, but I have become a candle person in the past few years. I have candles for all seasons, but fall and winter seem to be when I mostly burn them. You can find cozy smells and even ones that are book related!

Mugs

Mugs can be used for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. And who doesn’t love curling up with a good book and a hot drink?

And that is a list of some cozy gift ideas for book lovers! Is there anything that I missed? What kind of cozy gifts do you like receiving? If you’re looking for more bookish gift ideas, check out my gift posts from last year: Big Spender, Budget, and Stocking Stuffers.

  1. I need that mug!! These are great ideas, Pam. As a book lover, I would love to recieve any of these books.

  2. I love absolutely every single thing about this post! As soon as the weather gets cold, I immediately get out my candles, slip on my socks, bust out my favorite cold weather mug, and cuddle up under a blanket to read. But I do have to say, I love the mug that says f*ck off I’m reading! I’m clearly going to have to send this post to all my family members who ask what to get me for the holidays, because you’ve nailed my preferences to a T!

  3. What a great list. I love hoodies. I think that and the blanket are my favorites on this list. Some sort of reading journal and a booklight would make great gifts for booklovers, too. 🙂

  4. Absolutely terrific ideas – and I think most of us would happily receive any of them. I can think of a few more bookish gifts, but wouldn’t consider them cozy. Maybe a pillow? Thanks for stopping by.

  5. Blankets- especially bookish blankets- are perfect. I love candles too, and mugs. Never enough mugs. 🙂 That one cracked me up! that would get a second look by people lol.

  6. Cozy blankets and socks would definitely make my list of cozy must haves! I had both Sunday Sunday while I watched holiday movies as I addressed envelopes for the Christmas cards this year. What a fun list!

  7. I basically have that grey blanket and it’s just as thick and fluffy as it looks to be. SO comfy! And I love those kinds of socks—gimme them all (even though I live in the tropics, lol)! I can also never have too many mugs and candles, especially if they’re bookish. Great list!

  8. Bundle up in the blankets with the socks and a sweater, sounds like a perfect setting for cold weather reading.

  9. I love your take on this one, Pam. All of those are things I look for when I am reading and want to be cozy.
