Happy Tuesday y’all! This week’sΒ Top Ten TuesdayΒ is supposed to be Books to Read if You Like (blank). But I’m not doing that; I tend to struggle with book recommendations in general. I promised y’all that I would do a stocking stuffer edition of my bookish gift guide this week, and that’s what I’m going to do. Let’s check out the Bookish Gift Guide Stocking Stuffer Edition!

Bookish Gift Guide Stocking Stuffer Edition

Have you checked out either my  Bookish Gift Guide Big Spender Edition or Bookish Gift Guide Budget Edition yet? The Big Spender Edition is a list of 10 items with a heftier price tag, many of them over $100. On the Budget Edition, each item is under $50. This week the items could be any price, but they are perfect for stuffing a stocking.

1. Page Holder

A page holder is the perfect item for someone who enjoys reading physical books. It slips onto your thumb and helps hold the book open. It is supposed to help reduce the strain on your hand while reading.

2. Bookmarks

I know, I know. Every reader has a pile of bookmarks. But why not get them something special? There are as many different bookmarks as there are books to read. With a bit of searching, you can find one specific to the person you’re giving it to.

3. Pens/Pencils/Highlighters

I know this seems like a strange gift idea. But if your reader likes to annotate or keep a physical reading journal, why not give them something nice and personalized to use?

4. Page Tabs

This idea seems random, but if your reader likes to annotate, it makes sense. The tabs are generally used to mark various things like quotes, vocabulary words, and various setting details. Each person who annotates does so for multiple reasons.

5. Book Stamp

Does your reader keep their books? A book stamp is a fun way to mark the book as part of their library, especially if they lend their books to others.

6. Bookish Stickers

I know, stickers, why stickers? Stickers are a great way to show your love of reading, even if you aren’t reading. My kids like using stickers to decorate their water bottles and Chromebooks. While neither have book-related stickers, the stickers let you know who’s water bottle is who’s. All stickers shown below are from Redbubble.

7. Bookish Pins

Like the stickers above, pins are a great way to showcase one’s love for books and reading. Pins can be displayed on jackets, bags, or pin banners. There are a variety of pins that you can choose from, whether enamel or pin back.

8. Bookish Tea or Coffee

Does your book lover also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee? Why not give them some tea or coffee inspired by books? This would also work with a mug, like the ones I listed last week, for a complete gift.

9. Reading Snacks

Does your reader enjoy a snack while reading? Why not give them a little something in their stocking this holiday season? You can give them something sweet or salty, big or small. Think about what they enjoy snacking on, and add a little something to their stocking. Think about the small bags of potato chips and crackers, small hard candies.

Do you want to keep them bookish? Think of things like Turkish Delights from The Chronicles of Narnia, Lemon Drops from the Harry Potter series, and Gobstoppers from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

10. Gift Cards

This is an obvious gift that works for any reader. All you need to know is their preferred store to shop for books. If they prefer to use their Kindle, you can gift them an Amazon gift card. While you cannot use an Amazon gift card on Audible, you can buy them a gift subscription to the service.

And that is a brief Bookish Gift Guide Stocking Stuffer Edition! Did you find anything you want to add to your holiday wish list? Is there something that I missed?

  1. Great list! I love bookish pins, stickers and bookmarks. I can never get enough of bookmarks especially, but I also seem to lose them as quickly as I collect them! πŸ˜‚

  2. Great list! I have a stack of bookmarks (just ordinary paper ones), but I’m always losing them so it would be great to have more. I also like the pretty onesβ€”I just have to be careful with them πŸ™‚ Page holders are an interesting item. I’ve never tried them before. I might have to ask Santa for some so I can try them out.

    Happy TTT!

  5. I don’t read physical books but I might read them more if I had a Page Holder! I love this list, so many great ideas.

  6. There are SO many dang cute bookmarks on places like Etsy! Always fun to browse there, even if we really don’t have the time. πŸ™‚ Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland.
